Behavior: Specific attitudes and actions of this child at home and/or at school.
Always looking for "more." Continually pushing to see if he/she can get an extra privilege.
Asks teacher to repeat statements or instructions in the hope that reiteration will reflect a change that will prove advantageous.
Very persistent.
Will even talk to one teacher about what another teacher will do for him/her in comparison-hoping to gain an extra privilege.
Knows exactly what he/she is doing and, if the tactics work, will be back for more . . . and more ... and more.
Never satisfied with the extra privileges received-because nothing is ever enough.
May concede if teacher becomes angry, but comes back with another request as soon as he/she feels safe in doing so.
Is developing a personality characteristic that makes a happy life impossible, and hurts those around him/her too. Greed is one of the worst human diseases.
