1. Makes calculated moves to achieve his or her own self-serving ends.
   
   
2. Manipulates by giving praise to gain a personal advantage.
   
   
3. Tells us how right, good, and wonderful we are.

5. Tries to anticipate our requests.
   
   
6. Volunteers, before we ask for volunteers, with the answer he or she thinks we'll like.
   
   
7. Usually puts his or her relationships with adults over relationships with peers.
   
   
8. May be a tattletale as well as an apple polisher.
