The Manipulator

Behavior: How exactly is my child behaving?

  1. Uses people.

  2. Tries to get others to do his or her work.

  3. Very persuasive.

  4. Likely to be articulate.

  5. Has leadership skills.

  6. Often tricks people into doing things for him or her. Will use any means to manipulate others, including guilt, false compliments, and a pretense of caring.

  7. Never admits to being at fault. Tries to place blame on others.

  8. Rather than perceive the reality of the situation, believes that he or she is more intelligent and clever than others. Has a false sense of superiority.

  9. Not truthful.

  10. Wants his or her way, and will do anything to get it.
